VFA RECOMMENDS THE NEW FEATURE DOCUMENTARY FILM FROM OUR SISTERS AT HERESIES COLLECTIVE

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are proud to announce the launch of our new website :
http://www.heresiesfilmproject.org

...including an online archive of every issue of HERESIES; A Feminist Journal on Art and Politics, published 1977-1992. For the first time since they were published, all 27 issues are again available. They are all downloadable from the site in the Adobe PDF format. Spread the word! And, if you are searching for a work you remember, you can look through the index for each issue on-line or download it and sort by the title of the work or by artist or author in Microsoft Excel on your own desktop.

The website also includes a full proposal for the project - which can be printed - as well as biographies of most of the women who founded the magazine, stills from the 70's and behind-the-scenes photos of our shoots on location in Santa Fe, New York, Venice, Italy and Carboneras, Spain. Watch for the trailer of the feature documentary, showing on the website soon!

Special thanks to
