Beatrice "Bede" Urich

With kindness of heart and the strength of spirit died peacefully on October 11, 2014, at the age of 97.

Proud mother of 3 sons, Burton, Herbert (Beth) and Richard, loving grandmother of Abraham, and cherished aunt. There will be a memorial celebration for Bede on Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 5 to 10PM at the Italian Community Center, 631 E Chicago St. and Interment of ashes, non denominational, Sunday October 19, 2014, at 11AM CDT Spring Hill Cemetery 166 S. Hawley Ct. Bede was an accomplished studio artist. A founding member of NOW, her passion for social justice, politics and equal rights for women leaves behind a better community. Bede will be dearly missed by her family and extended family of magnificent friends. Contributions may be sent to the National Organization for Women.
