A Memorial Service for our beloved Kate Millett – feminist pioneer, writer, artist and visionary – will be held on November 9, from 2-4 pm at the Fourth Universalist Society (Unitarian Universal Church), 160 Central Park West (at 76th Street), New York City, 10023.
Among the speakers and performers at the memorial service will be Gloria Steinem, Yoko Ono, Phyllis Chesler, Kathleen Turner reading a tribute from Robin Morgan and Holly Near.
Kate was one of the founders of VFA, and an enthusiastic supporter of VFA and its mission to preserve Second Wave feminist history.
